Nootrenbathu - 180 Movie Review
Siddharth is back in action for a romantic weekend with his latest flick titled 180. Holding the hearts of millions by doing the romantic hero role in Boys and Ayutha Ezhuthu, once again he is all set to rock the silver screen and to carry a good applause from millions. Director Jayendra tried to bring forth Romance on air through 180. . The subject is so light that it will directly thrash in to the minds of viewers. The movie brings out the grim realities of life, the importance of love, the pain of betrayal, accepting the truth's in life, fear of Death. The movie is a bilingual which is released in Tamil with the name of Nootrenbathu
Story Line
The movie revolves arround the story of Mano ( Siddharth ) who comes to chennai and introduec himself as Ajay. He comes to Kasi where his outlook on world and fear of death changes after he meets a young boy. He comes to Chennai and stays in a house owned by a couple S V S Murthy (Mouli) and Jayam (Geetha). He gets close with them. They were very close with him that he feels that he gained something. A do-gooder, Ajay lives life with a purpose. He gets along with everyone well and his cool acts make him as an adorable person and wins the hearts of those whom he is close with. . Vidhya (Nithya Menon), a photo journalist gets acquainted with him. Ajay is a sort of person who finds satisfaction in helping others, which made him to sponsot for education of street children with the help of Vidhya.
His good hearts attracts Vidhya. Things take a turn when she tell im what she is feeling. Ajay without informing her decides to leave Chennai. But Destiny brings back Ajay to Vidhya. Meanwhile a flashback reveals that AJay was a doctor in USA and was attracted to a fun-loving girl Renu (Priya Anand). They get married after romance only to get a rude shock in their life. Ajay is diagnosed of cancer and that he would die in few months. Cut to present, Ajay takes Vidya to USA for tratment. Did Ajay meet his wife in US? Did he accept Vidhya in his life? All unfolds in the second half. Several questions will be opened in the second half of the movie.
Performance
Siddharth had done a great job. He had proved his Versitality in acting. He s capable enough to carry the tough roles lightly. He is very cool and Normal in the first half. Nithya Menon, with her girl next-door looks is perfect foil for the role.Priya Anand played her role in a clean manner. Sri Charan as Siddharth's friend deserves a mention. Mouli walks away with aplause for his portrayal. The cast includes Geetha, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Thanikala Bharani and Janaki Sabesh.
Technicalities
The director needs a pat for choosing an excellent crew behind the camera. The story or the narration may be very familiar, but the catchy dialogues and he sequence penned by Jayendra along with writers Subha is good. The first half is racy and interesting while the latter part drags a bit.

A fine start, clean and smooth Move till second Half. Good Choice if can bear a bit dragging the second part
