                      Don 2 Hindi Movie Synopsis :-Shah Rukh Khan is back and expected to give some wonderful movie with a surprise to his fans by a macho and rough look in his upcoming movie Don 2- The Chase Continues. This movie is action  thriller oriented one which is directed by Farhan Akhtar is the sequel of a hit hindi movie in 2006 titled as "Don" .SRK’s one more popular Bollywood Movie is Don which was supposed to be a remake of old same titled movie of Amitabh bachan and hence after this he started to be compared with bollywood star amitabh bachan. In this movie he played a role of a don named Vijay with actress Priyanka Chopra casted by the name Roma. This movie was directed by a famous director Farhaan Akhtar and the famous dialogue from that film was “Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai”.

It's a bit perplexing to see just how young, fit and fresh Shah Rukh Khan looks in the promos of his films. We saw the glaring gulf between the way he looked in the Ra One promo earlier this year and the way he looked on TV with Karan Johar or supporting his IPL team, and now we see him again, looking lethal in the first trailer for Don 2. Maybe those who do makeup and CGI for Rajnikanth are working their magic in SRK's films, or maybe King Khan only saves up his shininess for when it counts the most.

                          Either way, the Don 2 trailer looks pretty darned sharp. We see a speedboat slice through verdant green waters as Khan, in over-baritoned voiceover, tells us that his enemies thought he was dead and now he's back and ready for more. We catch peeks of Khan in tattooed longhaired Bangkokjunkie/underpaid chinesevan waiter mode, both of which make sense as a disguise while the wounded tiger licks his wounds. A word about the voice, though: in a sequel to a film where he stepped into Amitabh Bachchan's shoes -- which seemed a couple sizes too big for him at the time -- this voiceover seems to be yet another tribute from Khan, trying to sound a bit like that man who keeps proving he'll never be too old.
                          And then, just as he uses up all the gravel in his throat mouthing the 'remember who I am, I'm the Don' lines from that classic song used smartly here as dialogue, he smiles and says 'boom', a car explodes on cue, and then it's Shah Rukh all the way.
                          The rest is standard blockbuster fare, explosions and slow motion turns to the camera, maximised for dramatic effect. But there's absolutely no mistaking the fact that this film looks very, very slick indeed. Clearly Farhan Akhtar's out to prove a point, and so far, he looks like he knows what he's doing. Wish they didn't throw in the weird Khan smirk at the very end, though.

The story of the film sets in Chennai's gritty slums with prostituting eunuchs and murders at the backdrop. The movie strats-off with the flashback of Karthi (Nani) and Balaji (Muthu Kumar), who are in streets after their mother died and father Jothi (Shimmore) left home. Balaji takes responsibility of his brother's upbringing. Karthi is in love with their uncle's daughter Revathy (Nithya Menon). They have a mechanic friend name Vishnu (Karthik Kumar). Their life will be normal till Vishnu falls in love with a prostitute named Viji (Bindu Madhavi). Jothi, once a drunkyard has turned a pimp and he is involved in Illegal drug trade. In a bid to take her away from the flesh job, Vishnu makes a deal with Jothi that he would transport drugs to Goa on a condition that the broker should leave his girlfriend to him. What happens next should be seen on-screen.

          Vengai is typical movie of Hari’s stamp. It is just the tale of father and son affection and in between comes some action and love which forms Vengai.

Selvam (Dhanush) is the son of Veerapandi (Raj Kiran) who is an influential person in a village in Sivaganga district and does all good for the welfare of the village. Prakash Raj fondly called as Annachi becomes MLA for this region and Veerapandi takes an oath from Annachi to do only good things for the people in the village. However, Annachi brings out his evil image and does all illegal activities to make money and exercise his power. But Veerapandi, who gets angry with his activities, tries to stop them. Selvam who comes to know about his activities takes things in his hands but his father sends him to Trichy.

Selvam comes across Radhika (Tamannah) who is his childhood friend. Both of them within no time fall in love for each other. As Veerapandi is always standing as a problem for his activities Annachi decides to settle Veerapandi scores. From here the Tom and Jerry show starts between them. How Annachi takes revenge on Veerapandi? Will the love life of Selvam and Radhika turn successful? How will Dhanush settle the scores with Annachi? Checkout for the answers on the big screens…….

Performances:

Dhanush once again wins the hearts of audience with his superb performance as an angry young man. His mannerisms, ease in performing tough fights and gracy dance movements are the show stealers. Overall, Dhanush lived up to the expectations in all aspects.

Speaking about Tamanna, she is a perfect fit for the role of Radhika. She oozes in glamour in traditional outfits too and looked ultra glamorous in songs with skimpy outfits.

Prakashraj was again usually at his best. It looks like words are not enough to praise Prakash Raj as he is the tailor-made for the role of a corrupt politician. He also brought out some laughter which reminds his character in Ghilli.

Raj Kiran played his part well. He brought out anger, agony, frustration and love in right proportions. Comedy by Ganja Karuppu has brought some laughs.

Technicalities:

Director Hari yet again proved that he is good at handling mass masala films. His most gripping screenplay and effective narration will impress the viewers. True winner is Hari for his jet speed screenplay.

Vetri’s cinematography is worth mentioning and especially the way he captured the village beauty, songs and action sequences is good. Vijayan’s editing was sharp and made the movie not to loose its grip. Production values are great. Music by Devisri Prasad is peppy and foot-tapping. All the songs were excellently picturised.

Analysis:

For all those who have the heart to enjoy the regular formula based, masala action films…Vengai serves you 100% satisfaction. First half was neatly brought out with the right force for second half by successfully creating a strong conflict between hero and villain. Again the action drama continues in second half. Action based formula movies always have their own stamina to break the BO.

The audiences feel satisfied as Hari has some good moments along with thrilling moments coming out as a surprise in the climax. Action, racy script, strong and gripping narration, power packed performance of Dhanush and Raj Kiran, Tamanna glamour and DSP’s music stand as plus points of the film. On the flip side, the film has a familiar theme in regular style of Hari. Given the good amount of publicity by the team and a word of mouth, Vengai has all the chances to make it big at BO, especially ‘B & C’ centres.

Vengai is a regular action formula film with sundry elements of entertainment sprinkled around. Worth a look-in if you are a fan of Dhanush or Tamanna.

As with seemingly every other tentpole release to hit the multiplex this summer, the action thriller Cowboys & Aliens is based on a comic book – albeit a lesser-known one. It’s directed by Jon Favreau, whose previous comic-book adaptations, Iron Man and Iron Man 2, proved how much better those films can be when they’re grounded in character. Unfortunately, his latest effort is grounded not in character but a hook, an alt-history scenario best expressed in the language of the average twelve-year-old: “Like, wouldn’t it be awesome if, like, a bunch of 1870s cowboys had to fight a bunch of crazy aliens with exoskeletons and spaceships and super-advanced weapons?”

Like, perhaps. The hook was compelling enough to get someone to pony up a reported $100 million to find out, and the result is a film in which the western and science-fiction genres don’t so much blend as violently collide. After the wreckage is cleared, both emerge worse for wear.

Daniel Craig stars as Jake Lonergan, a stranger who awakens in the New Mexico Territory with a case of amnesia, a wound in his side, and a strange contraption strapped to his wrist. After dispatching a trio of bandits with Bourne-like efficiency, he rides to the nearby town of Absolution, where he stumbles on what appears to be an elaborate Western Iconography exhibit presented by the local historical preservation society. There’s the well-meaning town Sheriff, Taggart (Keith Carradine), struggling to enforce order amidst lawlessness; the greedy rancher, Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford), who really runs things; his debaucherous, cowardly son, Percy (Paul Dano); the timid saloonkeeper Doc (Sam Rockwell), who’s going to stand up for himself one of these days; the humble preacher Meacham (Clancy Brown), dispensing homespun spiritual advice; et al.

                                        Jake, of course, has his own part to play – the fugitive train-robber – as we discover when his face shows up on a wanted poster and a sneering Dolarhyde fingers him for the theft of his gold. The only character who doesn’t quite conform to type is Ella (Olivia Wilde), who, as neither a prostitute nor some man’s wife – the traditional female occupations in westerns – immediately arouses suspicion.

Jake is arrested and ordered to stand trial in Federal court, but before he can be shipped off, a squadron of alien planes appears in the sky, besieging Absolution and making off with several of its terrified citizenry. In the course of the melee, the Jake’s wrist contraption, wherever it came from, reveals itself to be quite useful in defense against the alien invaders. Thrown by circumstances into an uneasy alliance with Dolarhyde, he helps organize a posse to counter the otherworldly threat – and bring back the abductees, if possible.

Cowboys & Aliens has many of the ingredients of a solid summer blockbuster, but none in sufficient amounts to rate in a summer season crowded with bigger-budget (and better-crafted) spectacle. For a film with five credited screenwriters, Cowboys & Aliens’ script is sorely lacking for verve or imagination. And what happened to the Favreau of Iron Man? The playful cheekiness that made those films so much fun is all but absent in this film, which takes itself much more seriously than any film called Cowboys & Aliens has a right to. Dude, you’ve got men on horses with six-shooters battling laser-powered alien crab people. Lighten up.

Craig certainly looks the part of the western anti-hero – his only rival in the area of rugged handsomeness is Viggo Mortensen – but his character is reduced to little more than an angry glare. And Wilde, the poor girl, is burdened with loads of clunky exposition. The two show promising glimpses of a romantic spark, but their relationship remains woefully underdeveloped. Faring far better is Ford, who gets not only the bulk of the film’s choicest lines but also its only touching subplot, in which his character’s adopted Indian son, played by Adam Beach, quietly coaxes the humanity out of the grizzled old man.
